Hi Jim,

I have said this for a long time. It would be nice if when you hit
Ctrl-Alt-W, if WE is already loaded and working, it just brought itself to
the foreground like the Control-Backslash key, rather than bringing up that
error.

All the best

Steve

Hi, are you sure this is a window-eyes problem and not some program that is
not working correctly. Generally when I see speech loss I can usually pen
it down on a program not working correctly. You will note this happens with
every screen reader on the market. I am not saying there are no window-eyes
problems but so far most of what I have found is the program stops speaking
when some other program is not working correctly.
I really think a system of automatically checking the state of window-eyes
and restarting it if there is a problem is the best solution to this issue.
Also it would be nice if instead of being told window-eyes is already
running and the ding sound if window-eyes could be made to check it's status
and reload itself when the program was started.

I loose speech at least a couple times a day. Just lost it opening windows
mail, tried going into wineyes control panel and unloading and reloading,
but nothing, close windows mail, and speech came back a few seconds later.
I've lost speech while multi tasking in different apps too.
