Yes, I wonder why as well, because my demo of Window-Eyes works fine with IE8. I can load web pages, and Window-Eyes speaks. I can load the manual, and Window-Eyes will speak. I wonder if it's your machine?

Hi.
Remember a couple days ago I said that Window-Eyes stops speaking with
IE and my only solution was, after trying many others, was to re-install
Window-Eyes? I did, and guess what, no cigar, in fact, Window-Eyes will
not speak it's own manual after f6 is pressed. I arrow to anywhere in
the table of contents, press enter to select it, then press f6 and
nothing at all. I must press alt-f4 to unload that "browser" window and
even then Window-Eyes does not speak. No scripts are loaded, in fact the
default 6 are all that is left from my initial install of my brand new
copy of Window-Eyes. Now, what do I do? FireFox is my browser, not so
much of choice is that it is the only one that will work with
Window-Eyes, but this business of f6 not reading the WE manual is strange.
I would appreciate any suggestions, so until I can use IE again with
Window-Eyes, I must use jfw 11 because it works fine.
I wonder why?
