Here's another tip. You don't have to unzip the book on your computer, then copy or move it onto your USB stick or cartridge. Just open the folder where the zip file is. Now connect your USB stick or cartridge and open that in explorer as well. Then open the context menu, A for extract all, Enter for the default Next button, then edit the extract to drive and directory name appropriately. The book will be extracted directly onto your USB stick or cartridge. You can then check to make sure it was successful by Alt-Tabbing over to that drive.

Hope this helps.

Just for the record, I've never entered my password.

You don't need a thing.

If you're using IE, at least, your downloads go to the My Documents
folder.
Bring up Windows Explorer, navigate to My Documents, and type DB quickly.
You
should land on your first LC download. Press the Context Menu key, and
down-arrow until you hear "Extract All," and hit Enter on that. Tab
through and
respond to the prompts. One of these asks for your password, and you will
need
to press the spacebar to open the field for you to enter it. You must
enter the
password you were assigned or selected, the same one you use to get onto
the LC
site. After that, the next tab will ask if you want to show filenames. I
generally uncheck that box, because in addition to a folder with all those
files
inside, you will get all the same files listed outside the unzipped
directory as
well, making a totally confusing mess. By unchecking that box, when it's
all
done, you'll end up with only the original .zip file, and a directory
bearing
the name of the book beneath as you arrow down through My Documents.
After
that, you can move the unzipped directoryname directly to your LC
cartridge-cassette, to the appropriate directory on your stream or to the
booksense still within Windows explorer, using the copy or move and the
paste
commands we all know and love.

Hope all that is clear!

When getting the NLS books online you have to unzip them. Can anyone
recommend
a good program that works with W-E?
Thanks
Brenda
