The way I read the note, they were able to open up the archive, but they were
trying to open specific files that make
up the DAISY book. Many of these will not open or will not work right because
one's computer doesn't have the
ability to unlock the files as does a DAISY player. The trick is to copy the
files into a folder on the device. I find it
easiest to use the 7ZIP's "Extract to" option and then copy the resulting
folder to the device to where talking books
are supposed to be placed.

Best regards,

when you first enter on a folder the item you land on isn't selected. Either
press the space bar to select it or use the
down arrow to move away from it, then up arrow to come back to it to select it,
then hit enter to open it up. Give it a
try and let's see if you can open up the zip archive's contents.

allow the web search to find a program
for opening that file, and one of them even spoke to me, saying that I was not
authorized to read this file.

stream, use the humanware companion program, as it makes transfering talking
books easier, unzips the archives and
places the folders where they belong for you. I suppose the booksense may also
have similar features for extracting
talking books.
