Hi Again,
I just thought that you are now having a problem of opening it because you
in fact did give it a password. That is why you do not give it a password.
So, unzip it again and don't give it a password. I mentioned it in my last
post because for your own security do give it a password, but remember it. This
is only to protect your files from spy programs.
But, when entering passwords, you must remember them the next time you open
any file or folder.
So, just unzip again and don't enter a password.

Hi!
You can usually go into a zip file and even look inside txt files, but that
is far as you can go with a zip file until you unzip it.
Unzipping is done in the file menu when you are over the zip file, only
when over a zip file a pop-up of "Extract all" dialog box will appear in the
file menu. This is the only time it happens.
You must press, click on it, and the extract all dialog box will open up.
You tab through the procedure by hitting next and browsing to the folder
you wish to place the folder into.
There is a password question but you normally just go to the next button
for that question is meaningless unless the zip file needs one, but there is
only for security reasons and you do not enter anything there normally.
Just brows and find the location to place the extracted files then hit the
finish button.
When it has the check box that only takes you to the files and if you do
not want to go to the folder just keep it unchecked...
Then you are done and all files will then work, at least those that
normally will open or run. No files that have no legal extension will open
unless there on the file extension list.
You are not allowed to open files until unzipped unless it is a text file...

Well, I've just now tried opening the .zip file by just pressing Enter, and,
while I was able to see the list of files in the .zip, I was unable to hit
Enter to open any of them. Generally I was asked to allow the web search to
find a program for opening that file, and one of them even spoke to me, saying
that I was not authorized to read this file.
I have Windows XP sp3, and was experimenting with Windows Explorer to get the
above results.

Just hit enter on the zip file archive and windows will open up the archive for
you. If you are using a Victor Reader stream, use the humanware companion
program, as it makes transfering talking books easier, unzips the archives and
places the folders where they belong for you. I suppose the booksense may also
have similar features for extracting talking books.

When getting the NLS books online you have to unzip them. Can anyone
recommend a good program that works with W-E?
Thanks
Brenda
