I can reproduce this issue and I have a 6 Core with 8Gb of RAM, when
arrowing doen in the list of apps, it becomes slower and slower until speech
completely stops.

Yes, 512m is small memory.  But as you can tell in my previous message,
memory isn't the issue here.  I explained how I can reproduce the problem
and fix it as well and how my control panel settings are changing back to a
condition where the problem starts again.

Could the amount of RAM contribute to this issue?  512 mb of RAM is too
little these days.
