I also have these problems of 7.5 no longer reading desktop icons and
lists randomly as well. I also hav problems where it will just
randomly stop speaking. Sometimes unloading and reloading will work.
Sometimes it hangs on trying to unload. Sometimes unloading and
reloading will make no difference. rebooting is often the only
solution, however logging out and logging back into the account on my
machine often works and takes less time than a full reboot. In short,
I honestly am quite frustrated with these things and IMO it makes 7.5
a piece of crap that appears it was rushed out the door. I sure hope
8.0 or whatever version number they use is much better. 7.5 takes up
far too much time being unreliable.

Hi Everyone

I am using the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home premium, Window-Eyes 7.5 and
Dectalk.

Has anyone come up with a solution to the problem of the desktop icons not
speaking? This seems to happen every day and the only way to get them to
talk again is to reboot.

I believe someone said that Windows Key and Backslash sometimes worked, but
it has not worked for me.
