So chris, what Kind do you have. Maybe if GW doesn't wantto tell us exactly
what to buy, they could at least share with us the brands they use that they
don't have problems with. I know they use to work with Tisheba. I thought
about getting that one or a Lynovo. The last time I have a gateway, was on
Windows 98 here at work. Since the3n we have had dell here and I have a dell
at home.

Whenever possible i steer clear of HP and even dell computers. You guys would
not believe all the crap they put on these machines when you first buy them!
popup adds, free offers, 30 day trials of antivirus software that goes so deep
in the registry that most people can ever completely uninstall it, it's a mess.
My girlfriend got a netbook recently and it took me about 2 and a half hours
to get rid of all the free junk they put on it. So let's not blame all the
problems on window-eyes. My advice is to take a look at what programs are
running and if you notice that wineyes crashes when that program runs, the best
solution is to get rid of said program. There's no way on earth i can tell you
what it is, but yes, hp is the worst...I've also seen the audio service shut
down for no reason. it's nuts.
