I also wonder, in these discussions, how important to these speech problems is the synthesizer or synthesizers in use both software and hardware ones. When I think about all this, perhaps we should be amazed that WE (or any other screen reader for that matter) works as well as they do. Given that pcs and software are a moving target, I doubt that we will ever see perfection here. Our experience determines our persuasion.
