I am suspecting the same thing which is another reason to upgrade if you are
in a position to do so.

If it's like what happened when Windows 2,000 ended support then Gw will
drop support for XP in the next paid upgrade of Window-Eyes, whether that be
something like 8.5 or 9 or whatever. Just a speculation of course.
