Hello. I can use them just fine. When you get the newsline paper it
comes in 4 files. You must save these 4 files to a folder, for example
/flashdisk/downloads/newsline
Now open the DAISY player and point to the newsline folder, press space
then press enter and the newspaper will open.

The other day I registered to join the free newspaper and magazine service from NFB
called NFB Newsline. You can read local and national newspapers, and some magazines via
your touch tone phone. They also provide a service that they can e-mail the newspapers
and magazines that you want to read to your e-mail in Daisy format as well. When I was
signing up for the newspaper delivery to my e-mail, I had difficulty registering for it
online. So I contacted a customer service person at NFB Newsline. He asked me where I'd

player? When I first received my Braille Sense I tried to download and open Bookshare books in Daisy format in the Daisy player of the Braille Sense. It didn't work well at all. So I learned just to download and open the BRF files when I download, open, and unpack books from Bookshare. I have upgraded my Braille Sense to version 5.0, but I haven't updated to the latest version, because I don't want to mess with the Bata form. I want to wait for the stable permanent latest version, and that might be ready to download by now. Right now I have a loaner Braille Sense, because mine is being repaired because some of the pins got bent in the wireless card slot. So until it returns repaired to me, I don't want to download a lot of things on to the loaner Braille Sense.
