Hi Don, When I first received my Braille Sense, and tried using the Daisy player for the first time when downloading books from Bookshare, it was horrible to use. I love every other aspect of the Braille Sense, and I hate to put it down as well, but I totally agree with you that whoever created the Daisy player did a horrible job. It needs to be fixed sooner than later as well. I can't use that application at all, because I can't successfully open Daisy files, and if it even tries it sounds all garbled if I remember correctly. It's been a long time since I've tried using it. Even my assistive technology goroo agrees with me, and told me that it was poorly created. When I go back to school to attend graduate school, I believe a lot of my books may be in Daisy format. I do have the Victor Stream that I can play those files on, but still it would be nice to be able to have all my books stored on one machine. Also, you would think if someone creates a product to be used and purchased, and customers like ourselves pay for the product, that quality would be a high priority because I know I would use the Daisy application a lot like probably others on this list if it worked properly. I'm probably sounding like a snob, and I don't mean to come across that way, but you would think the people who created and invented the Braille Sense would make sure all the applications would work well before selling the product. As I said, I haven't used the Daisy application in a long time, so maybe the bugs have been fixed and I just don't know it yet and need to try using it again.
