Tessa: In effect, when you switch documents, you do, indeed, close the currently-open file, or, rather, the word processor does. It just keeps track of your position so that when you "switch" back, the word processor can reopen the file and put you back where you left off. Put another way, the word processor doesn't really hold multiple documents open the way Microsoft Word does on a PC; each time you switch documents among multiple documents with the BS Plus's word processor, it closes the document you were working on in order to open the one you're switching to.
