When it wanted to save, though, it probably looked for the storage device,
could not find it, and got upset at you for removing it. Just conjecture...
Have a great day,

I cannot provide a specific reason for the SenseNote family, but I can say
that, when it comes to notetakers, it is generally a bad idea to open a
file, remove the storage device from where the file was loaded, then close
the file; it can cause problems. On a regular PC it is not such a big
deal,
but it seems that Windows CE does not like it when this happens for some
reason.

Subject: [GWN] Word processing document issue
Hi:
I had something odd happen.
I loaded a file from a thumb drive, then removed the drive as I was only
reading the file not making corrections. I loaded a second file from my
cf
card, when I left the first file it asked if I wanted to save the file
and
I
said no since I didn't have the thumb drive at hand. I worked on the file
from the cf drive for a bit then tried to switch back to the other file
but
it told me that the format was unfamiliar or something like that and it
wouldn't access the file. When I plugged the drive back in it overwrote
the
original file on the thumb drive with the one from the cf drive. Needless
to
say I wasn't impressed. Any reason why this should happen. The file
didn't
suddenly change formats while I was working on another one surely?
Thanks
Tessa
