Sherry look in the word processor under files settings perhaps your unit is set to "don't save automatically? I have mine set to save every 10 minutes, I wrote down a note turned the machine off and when it came back on it said word processor namename1. I can't recall loosing data because I didn't manually save it. Now, if the silly thing crashes that's another issue, but saving every 10 min does reduce that somewhat. I also appreciate the free upgrades. The only thing I don't like so far about the Braille Sense is that it doesn't automatically save what you do. I used several notetakers before and they always saved everything I wrote so I sometimes turned the device on, wrote a quick note and turned it off. I wish the BS had an auto-save feature! You wouldn't believe the number of notes I have lost forgeting that I need to save what I write before turning it off.! Old habbits die hard. May the Lord richly bless you on this day, for the Lord is good and his mercies endureth forever!
