Hi Sherry, Actually you shouldn't loose notes even if you turn it off immediately after writing one, the bs saves the note in a file called noname and depending on how many noname files you have it will number them, also when you turn the machine back on it should say wordprocessor noname file and you just press a key and there you are back in your note. It's handy, but if you get too many noname files it gets way confusing. Reminds me of the days of dos with the very short file names and you had to be as creative as you could in hopes of sorting out from item from another six months after writing them LOL. Tessa
