The Braille Sense word processor does have an auto-save feature.
1. While you are in the Word processor press enter-e.
2. Arrow down to auto save every blah item.
3. Press the space bar to choose an auto save increment.
4. Press enter to save.
That's it.
Many thanks.

I also appreciate the free upgrades.
The only thing I don't like so far about the Braille Sense is that it
doesn't automatically save what you do. I used several notetakers before
and they always saved everything I wrote so I sometimes turned the
device on, wrote a quick note and turned it off. I wish the BS had an
auto-save feature! You wouldn't believe the number of notes I have lost
forgeting that I need to save what I write before turning it off.! Old
habbits die hard.
May the Lord richly bless you on this day, for the Lord is good and his
mercies endureth forever!

One more thing I'd just like to mention, and I know this may have to
change. We have never had to pay to upgrade the Sense products. I
would guess this can't last forever, but I can tell you that with
Humanware, it is $195 to upgrade.

Thanks for responding Raul. I know you all have taken note of
the
email issues I and others have raised, as well as other software
issues raised on the list.
Thanks for listening, looking forward to seeing the next upgrade.

yes you are correct and we've marked down your suggestions from

Hi Rhonda,
Not sure if it's my message or someone else's that you were
responding
to, but for my part, I'll say that in no way did I intend to be
unconstructive. I simply think that it's one thing to compare
the
hardware, it's another to talk about the actual programs on the
unit,
and I think the software component is every bit as important.
My
particular issue is the email program, others may have different
software concerns. I have virtually no experience with Keysoft,
so
can't
comment on that at all, but I think, and I say it
constructively,
that
this is an area where the BSP could grow.
I do agree about the tech support that GWMicro provides, but for
me, it
still comes back to the same thing. The device needs to be able
to do
what I need it to do. If it doesn't the tech support doesn't
matter.
Cheers,
Donna

Hello List:
I've been reading all of the thoughts about products. I'm not
sure
this is the list to compare products, or talk about switching
over. At
least, there is a constructive way to do it. Alex and Joseph
Lee
have
chosen the constructive way.
One thing I will say is this: GWMICRO has been doing it right
for a
long time. Any time there has been a suggestion, we have always
been
responded to. I don't have a unit any more. I loaned it out to
help
someone, and it never got returned. I'd love to get a unit
again.
You
can't beat the tech support, nor can you beat the help that Raul
gives
every single day. That's worth a whole bunch to me. As far as
the
email client, I believe it's been stated that this is being
worked
on.
