Hi, Tessa, I never use a hard return in a document unless it's the start of a new paragraph.
I usually proof in ASCII but as per your suggestion, I changed from ASCII to Drade 2 with the same results. I could add a space at the start of a line. Today when I started writing, I loaded my document and I could add a space with no problem. I went to any line and was able to add a space. I also found that, after I was writing for a while, it was no longer possible to add a space at the beginning of a line. I cannot account for this. It's great when I can reproduce an error, but I can't do it. Maybe this will suggest a curefor this problem. I can add a letter at the start of a line, which makes this a strange problem.
