Negatives of the BSP: 1. Leather case Yep, velcro is noisy and what's worse it's a dog hair magnet. You say the apex uses magnetic closures, is this no longer a problem with electronic media? My biggest issue with the case is the fact that it's ridgid so can't be converted to a fanny pack rather than having to use it as a shoulder bag. The leather may be more protection for the unit but I far prefer a soft sided case. 2. Slight delay in completing saving, deletion and similar commands I'm curious about that statement, just wondering if the delay is actually part of the save process. Saving a large file does take several seconds and the bsp goes through it's thing letting you know by voice or braille what percentage of the item is saved, otherwise I haven't noticed a delay so was wondering? I haven't seen an apex though hope to in April just for a lookI spent my birthday money for the next five years on the bsp and am well pleased.
