I also really like the bsp case and don't mind the velcro at all. Those
magnetic latches are ok, but, and maybe it's just psychological, but the
velcro seems more secure and dependable to me.
I upgraded to the bsp from the bn MPower. The first thing that struck
me on the bsp was the actual form and shape of the unit. It feels more
durable. The second thing was the quality of braille. I was
immediately struck as to how clear it was.
I also like the speech. Not sure if it's the amplifier in the bsp or
what, but it seems more clear and pleasant-sounding to me than the
MPower did.
I also really enjoy the windows-like interface. I find it much easier
to remember commands and how to navigate even if I haven't done some
things for a while. It's probably because I'm more familiar with
windows navigation, but it comes back more naturally than keysoft ever
has.
I still have a pk which I use only for gps and always have a heck of a
time remembering how to do things on the pk when I do try to use it.
That's very subjective of course and others may have an entirely
different take on things, so don't take what I say as absolute fact.
You really need to try for yourself and make decisions based on what
works best for you.

I have gotten cat hair on the velcro but it comes off.
Since I just put the Braille Sense on over my head and not on one shoulder it
works fine for me.
I personally like a durable case.
Personally after having a BN Classic and a BS Classic I didn't really think
there was a choice when upgrading. I went for the BSP and am really glad I did.
It's really great.
As far as the speech I guess I really do not mind Eloquence. Sometimes I just
use the Braille anyway.

As far as programming, I am happy with things the way they>every.
I do not have a problem with changes that would allow people to do more as long
as the ease of operation which we currently have isn't changed.
I do not like complicated devices.
Compared to a PC the BSP seems a lot faster to me.
At least it's really straightforward and I do not have to think about it like I
have when using a PC.
Admittedly, I do not like a PC and am very comfortable with my BSP.
Technical Support is also great when you call Gw Micro.

I like the case much better than the mP's. It closes very nicely and
everything is covered. If you want to carry the BSP on your waist, buy a
strap that will fit comfortably, take the old one off, put the new one on,
slip it over your head, adjust the strap and go.
