Crap, the Krispy Kreme Challenge is already here again? The last few years I've told myself I was going to do it and every year it sneaks up on me.
Here's a link. But the basics are: it started in 2004 with a few people running from the Bell Tower at NC State for 2 miles to Krispy Kreme, eating a dozen donuts, then running back in under 1 hour. It has grown every year and is now a big fund raiser for the NC Childrens Hospital. They are expecting 5000 runners this year and ESPN is going to document the race for a program. http://www.krispykremechallenge.com/index.html On Thu, Feb 5, 2009 at 9:05 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Bert is doing what...?? > > > > ---- Itchn2go - Ed <[email protected]> wrote: > > G-Men & Women, > > > > > > > > Tony will be coaching soccer this weekend and Bert will be eating donuts > and > > running (good luck with that) so they have asked me to post a ride and > lead. > > We are going to do one of Gary's favorites Led Zebulon Metric.
