Crap, the Krispy Kreme Challenge is already here again? The last few years
I've told myself I was going to do it and every year it sneaks up on me.

Here's a link. But the basics are: it started in 2004 with a few people
running from the Bell Tower at NC State for 2 miles to Krispy Kreme, eating
a dozen donuts, then running back in under 1 hour. It has grown every year
and is now a big fund raiser for the NC Childrens Hospital. They are
expecting 5000 runners this year and ESPN is going to document the race for
a program.
