Funny, I thought Metrosene and Gutermann were about equivalent in quality--both long-staple polyester. I'm pretty sure I can use both in my Bernina. What I can't use, at least on the bobbin, is Coats and Clark (and of course the REALLY cheap stuff is out of the question).
