The fabrics are dyed with dyes that would have been available at the 
time, and hand woven. They are highly recommended by U.K. re-enactors.

The group as a whole has an excellent reputation. (I do not use the 
books myself, as I am a snob, and only work with "gentry" and not the 
common people *snigger*)
