I just see big companies walking all over the GPL and the linux geeks have nothing to say about it. >>> All the chicks and gay artists want a Mac. >>> They do exploit that :-) >> >> >> Is a Java programmer questioning the manhood of people? Can't say that I have ever been a gay artist, a woman, or jealous of anything of George Michael's. So, perhaps you should be questioning your own manhood. For my part, I don't buy any PC hardware besides Apple's. I have no time for cheap junk PCs and certainly don't have time to putz with Linux. I want reliable systems that work with a minimum of hassle and personal attention. I want to focus on the task I'm trying to accomplish....not worry about if my audio driver is crashing the latest Linux kernel I downloaded. I do recognize that people such as yourself do enjoy putzing with Linux and mixing and matching your own hardware, and that is fine with me. Have a ball. I just want you to understand that there are other valid preferences beside your own to which Apple's ecosystem appeals. Just because Apple doesn't service your desires doesn't make the company dirty or evil or on-par with Microsoft. -James -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "H2 Database" group.
