We have discussed this in the past. Once the plugin directory and hpm are functional (and I see BigJibby doing good work there) it should be relatively easy to extend and offer bundles. I've also thought it would be useful to have "add to bundle" on plugin posts, which could then be downloaded as a whole, like a shopping cart, and unzipped in /user/plugins.
