I personally find the off-topic discussions: a) build community, if they are appropriate b) can help developers learn more techniques
I've found many interesting ideas through IRC, even not specifically related to Habari. So, I definitely don't think we should ban all off-top discussion. I think here's the line we should start with: 1) Mark all NSFW links as NSFW 2) If someone asks you to stop sharing links temporarily (even if not necessarily NSFW), respect that request.
