Indeed.  Unfortunately, the presence/endorsement of a "NSFW" label on 
anything in the channel is enough to tarnish any image we might try to 
build for visiting users.

It's like that family video store with the curtain and the "Adults Only" 
sign above.  Sure, you don't see the porn, but you know they serve it, 
so you look at the clerk differently.  I don't want potential users to 
take away that impression of Habari as a result of trying out an IRC 
support request, which we even encourage from the wiki and on Twitter.

As I said in my longer reply, adults come to agreements about what to do 
when not everyone can be trusted to behave as an adult.  My last 
suggestion wasn't a "set of rules" but simply stronger language about 
the expected tenor of the channel, and the consequences of violating it. 
  I'm curious what others think of adding that language.
