Well, in that case I rule that either we install Mandrake from CDs or
install Mandrake from the Network using Kick-Start. Everyone can click his
way through a Mandrake CDs installation. On the other hand, the Kickstart
installation was confusing with some on the instructions on these pages
and the others there. And I think the installation from the network made
things considerably slower. And if we install only a smaller number of
packages it will be much faster.
And we cannot assume that if installations were relatively slow this year,
they will be considerably faster next year. No, it does not work this way.
People always bring old computers, or computers with regular IDE hard
disks, etc. We should make sure the setup is fast enough as it is.
Fedora has a problem that its support ends after 3 months. That's not
close to enough time to upgrade it.
