Well, I can also cite some other such features,
and probably everybody can. But if we cannot
do a release, because we're all the time distracted
by these new feature, we will end up being in unstable
state forever, without a release.

Without a release there is no way do document
anything (unless someone wants to peek into every
ChangeLog entry, and wishes to work with a daily
build, both pretty scary for production level apps
for most normal user.)

Seems that 'release' is seen as something stopping
the project, while in fact the lack of the release
is what is really stopping it since some time. Now
we seem ready, let's do it.

I agree with Lorenzo
MT is important feature and first we release first we have a stable mt

Also comparing harbour with other solution MT and Multi windows GT will
be important inclusion

Just like many other things below I'm attaching some small
list I extracted from my MT repository copy. It's not full list
...
BTW HB_TRACE() is not used in default compilation and fully
stripped so it's used only in custom debug builds.

Just a question, isn't it an option to slip the rc1 and add the MT?

IMHO MT is a key feature and adding it to 1.1 or 2.0 will make 1.0
very soon obsolete.

We took 8 years to get to 1.0 we can wait some weeks/months for it.

If we need a release now we can call it beta4. Nobody expects main
changes between RCs.

best regards,
Lorenzo
