My work PC is the loudest PC I've heard heard.

I have a Asus P56D1 in an Antec P160 case with a Zippy EMACS 460 W PS in it.
There is also a stock HS/Fan on the P4 Prescott 3.6 GHz CPU (LGA 775). There
is a Geforce 6600 in there with a stock HS/Fan. Also, at the back of the case
is a 120 mm fan, which is dead.

I think I remember when that fan died because the temps displayed on the
outside of the case when up about 10 degrees or so.

So, I'm going to replace the fan. Easy enough. However, even with the case
open I can't tell where most of the noise is coming from. With HS/Fan costing
what they do, and with PS costing what they do, I don't want to waste $$$.

Anyone have a suggestion on where the noise is coming from or how to find out?
I guess I could unplug the cpu fan and power on for a sec to get a feel for the
relative noise difference? At least I could know if the CPU fan is the major
noise source.
