Any dell restore media will work, as long as it has a dell BIOS. If
you want I can backchannel a copy of a restore disk if you need
one. I'm ok with doing that because it will refuse to install on a
non-dell system.

Thanks Chris but I think I got this. Just removing the original user
cleared out a lot of cache and downloads that were appearing as
malware. Clamwin ID'd the viruses which allowed me to deal with them.
Then I ran every free scanner I could get until it appeared clean.I
got rid of all the Dell crapware and it is running pretty good now. I
think I will install COMODO free anti virus and firewall and she
should be good to go.
Has anyone ever tried COMODO free VPN software?
