Buy a test replacement and try it. If you get acceptable print quality, then buy yourself some storage stock! As long as you store it in a cool, dry place, it should last forever........ :)

I guess I will stay with Okidata toner, if the fuser went out I would end up having to buy a new one as the cost of toner and a fuser would be prohibitive. But I have had this for 40 months and it has been trouble free so it is worth it to me to get another 40 months out of it

Duncan, I have the original toner in it and in 40 months I have only printed 1812 pages. It works fine but is there any other maintenance I should think about doing ... just because of the time that has passed rather then the page count?
