Thane,
Yes I do. Always have. RealTek seems to use a very confusing method of
defining their drivers.
And, I loose patience quickly after 3 clicks trying to "identify" what I
think my on-board is. I play their game for now because I refuse to
accept the "optional" MS Update wish (custom). I have been burned by MS
suggested drivers so many times, I continue to do this the old way-direct.
When the pain gets too great, I will disable the on-board and park an
Intel NIC on the m/b.
Done!
I will go search MajorGeeks, however. Maybe they have unscrambled
RealTek's confusing logic.
Best,
Duncan

Greg,
Thank you for this share. I have been an Intel-NIC fan-bois for years.
Yes, I still use/abuse my current on-board RealTek NICs also. ATM, just
because they cause no grief so far.
I am very grumpy about finding updated RealTek drivers (on-board) from
normal sources. Asus is confusing; RealTek is blindingly crazy!
I suppose that with NIC drivers, I have very little patience. My bad.
You have trouble finding Realtek NIC drivers? Use Majorgeeks.
