Anthony, Thanks for the report. Since '06, I've become familiar with the Brother AdminPro s/w. Tedious, but it does work. The HL-5370DW will be an upgrade to me because of duplex printing. I gave up manual duplex 3 years back. Kinko's was my friend; until they went TU. Now, I guess I have Office Depot's Print Center to play with (not tested yet!). I used/tested Lexmark printers many years back. Yes, built well.
Agree, I still lean Brother ATM. 5 years solid trouble-free service. Truly, I really only expected 3 years. I know these machines are destined for the bin by design. So, I am +2 with an intermittent glitch................ :) Thanks, Duncan On 06/23/2011 19:38, Anthony A Riederer wrote:
I currently have the Brother HL-5370DW. I use it with the wired network connection. Aside from not having a LCD screen to know what's going on, or configuration it seems to do a nice job. Configuration needs to be done through their software. I am not doing high volume work with it but it works for me just fine. My vote would be for the Brother. But I don't have much experience with the Lexmark's. Good luck in your decision making process. Anthony <snip>
