Stupid phone, I did not mean to send that I was not done typing!

Iphone and blackberry require data to be activated at all. Android phones do
not and in fact work fine without even a SIM just doing wifi.

Having done my research I signed up and got an android smartphone a few
months later when my contract expired. After waiting a few months so not run
into trouble with amazon over my contract being changed, I called at&t and
said put a block on. The rest is like I said, I was told I could not but the
rep did so anyways because the form let her make the change despite policy.
YMMV, are you with them did you want a hamburger but no fries not hamburger
with less fries or chicken sandwich so to speak.
