Hello, Facebook: I like it but I feel people post far TMI on there (like many of you feel). I mainly use it to keep track of what the kids are doing on it and what my family and friends are up to. That being said, I have two FB accts, one for my gaming identity. I use that one to keep track of games and news related to gaming. I also use it as a buffer to get to know someone before I give them my real FB info. Tin foil hat mode engaged.
Twitter: Use it to watch my kids, of course and also to track sports. Texting: I got into txt'ing a couple years ago and it's not bad for short thoughts and communications but (like some of you) it's easier just to visit on the phone with a voice call. "Get beer" Perfect for a txt... Talking about stuff that requires constant feedback so you know what to do next... augh just freakin call me! Smart phones: My daughter got one this year iPhone 4; it's really neat. She's on the thing CONSTANTLY. I swear she charges that thing three - four times a day. So, now I'm thinking about getting my first smart phone... either HTC Trophy Win7 phone (heard better to wait for mango?) and iPhone 5 (both due in a few months?) Email: I'll go down with the ship. Suffices to say - we need to keep up or get out of the way. OH btw, Loving this HTPC from Acer. That with a happauge HD PVR... it's just good stuff. Been reading the threads on NAS, that's next. -- Regards, joeuser - Still looking for the 'any' key... "...now these points of data make a beautiful line..."
