Given that Facebook users have happily (and in great numbers) sold their information to Facebook for a little bit of electronic ego stroking, I think that most companies realize that nobody really gives a shit about privacy, as long as there is bread to eat and circuses to watch. The older I get, the less impressed I am with the human race. :)

I wonder if the govenments have more info about us or less than the private companies at this point. I'm thinking less, which is almost sad.
