Hi,

There is a series called 'Animated Stories from the Bible' available
from www.nestlearning.com <http://www.nestlearning.com/> . It is a
Christian-oriented company. However, I spoke with a rep who told me that
a Rabbi sat on their Board, reviewed all of the animated films of
stories from the Hebrew Bible, and deemed them suitable for Jewish
children.

Also, I think that the Hanna-Barbera series is okay.

Thanks,

Natasha

Please share your findings with the listserv. There are so many
children's stories that have a Christian undertone it would be nice to
see which are appropriate for Jewish children.

Subject: [ha-Safran] bible story dvds

Hello,

Could someone please advise me as to which series of Bible Stories are
suitable for Jewish children? I understand the Hanna Barbera series is
fine. What about the 'Greatest Heroes and Legends of the Bible' series?
Are those stories from the Hebrew Bible also appropriate for our day
school?

Thank-you,

Natasha Krause
