Thanks for [^HDFS-15221-006.patch]; this looks like it, it will show a couple
checkstyles but just fix them in the next iteration.
For the documentation, I think that's the main issue now.
This feature will be buried under the carpet as it is right now.
Typically we document in hdfs-default.xml, not sure if we can do it there.
Another option is to also mention it in the DN configuration or the StorageType
one:
