Hi, One feedback I get repeatedly in places I present OpenOffice is the a question regarding using OO with Hebrew features and an English interface. Those places are mainly in the scientific arenas (Biotechs, academia and so forth). People is those environments work in predominantly English environment, but require Hebrew. While writing and editing in Hebrew is not an issue[1], the lack of a Hebrew spell checker is. While it is possible to install OO in both languages on the same system, The feedback I get is that this is an annoying setup. It is my personal[2] belief that a Hebrew spell checker usable in the main release of OO, together with the RTL spreadsheets will be a major step in pushing OO into the academic and high tech areas.
This is not to say that the Hebrew UI is redundant. I think that in K12 and Government it's a must. Gil [1] The hyphens / Dash is annoying, but I think this is a broader question [2] This is a gut feeling. I cannot provide read market data to support it.
