The foil is important for other reasons as well. The bi-filament tape
is quite flammable and will greatly accelerate the combustion of the
panels into nasty, toxic gasses. The foil tape, in my testing, seems
to do a good job of greatly reducing the ignition possibility of the
bi-filament tape.
