Steve, there seems to be much variation in how people approach this issue. When I constructed my H12, I used 2" gorilla tape for the edges. I found using 4" foil tape (yes, the kind for ducting. Home depot in Chicago had some in stock but this was a few years ago) to cover it helped tons. I cover the bi-filament with this tape as well. I overlapped two strips of the 4" over the 6" bi-fi once it was all taped up. I then taped the inside seams with 2" gorilla tape to keep light out.
