Thanks for the information.  The Galician band, Berroguetto has a Zanfona 
player and, as far as I can hear, uses no chien.  The Castilian band, La 
Musgana, uses tons of chien in their tunes.  Both styles work well for the 
tunes they play.  La Musgana puts a lot of rhythm in their music with all 
instruments being played like drums from time to time.  Love it.
