Jaime Rebollo of Spain is building exactly one like that for Anxo Pintos,
the HG player in groups like Berroguetto and Lizgairo...

It is very small and thin - the wheel goes outside the back of the
instrument (there is a fixed wheel cover on that side to protect the wheel,
of course). It fits on the overhead compartment even on very small regional
airplanes and planes such as those of Ryanair. And despite the compact
design, the sound is amazing. He intends to include that model among the
ones he makes regularly for regular buyers.

I got a "contemporanea" model from him and could not be happier with my
purchase. I will post some videos of Anxo Pintos, Oscar Fernandez and German
Diaz (the best Spanish HG players) playing my HG soon on youtube.

Here's his website

(it's in Galician, a language very close to Spanish and Portuguese, if
anyone needs a help understanding what's written, just ask me)

BTW, most HGs, even big lutebacks fit on most overhead compartments on a
soft padded case.
