It seems like there's a constant stream of folks posting to this list who are actually looking for a users list. Presently, they are redirected to the forums, but the forums aren't really equivalent to a users list. In particular, if you post a question to the forums, you are not notified when someone else posts an answer; with a mailing list, answers just show up in your inbox.
Given the apparently high demand for a user mailing list, I'd like to humbly suggest that the dev team create one.
