Yes, that is what I am saying. I know it works for Half-Life. I have
referenced Half-Life Models and Sounds from a Counter-Strike Mod many
times. I have never tested accessing a mod other that Half Life. If you
are having problems let me know and I will test it.

Keep in mind for this to work servers and clients will need to have the
Mod (I think you said CS) and Half Life installed.

Actually I got the paths from the dedicated server. If you look how the
dedicated server builds paths just use those. The clients seem to do the
mapping automatically.

What I <think> he was trying to say is that the engine will see the
packed files in the gcfs just as if they were unpacked.  You reference
them by the path that is zipped into the gcf.

So you'd wanna open up the gcf file with that tool only to examine
what's in there.

How about those in the .gcf file? Is there a way to reference them?

And er....the mod uses HL SP maps. So, referencing can't be done. :(
