I think it will affect the function address table. When the engine tries
to call a function on a Vector created by the game, a mismatched
function table would cause the wrong function to be called and most
likely cause a crash. Please feel free to correct me if you think I am
wrong.

But that's not the question, which has been deviated from. The question
is, why did Valve remove Normalize() in the first place?
