I understand what you mean Maarten, Your might have the right to produce a the work, but the assets you use in doing so (Such as the af mentioned Jedi Knights 3) main need the rights of access from the publisher & or developer to do so.
I understand that your welcome to use Xbox game content in this way, as long as you give credit to Microsoft for it.
