I seriously cant wait to get a GF8-class card so i can try to do "awesomeness" in CUDA...
Considering how the emulated version of CUDA demos were slower than a snail on my computer, and are supposed to be pretty fast with CUDA, i am almost 100% certain that it'll beat the speed of any GPU/CPU-accelerated physics engine in speed. However, i support Havok aswell. Especially since it has proven to be an incredible physics engine aswell! Let's hope they both do great, eh? :D Can't wait for nVidia APEX! :) ( http://developer.nvidia.com/object/apex_dev.html ) On Tue, Jun 3, 2008 at 3:09 PM, Joshua Simmons <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > The PhysX binary SDK is free for commercial and non-commercial use. > > Developers can license the source code and / or support packages. > > PhysX in the near future will be accelerated via the CUDA interface on 8 > series+ nVidia cards. > > Interesting none the less, I wonder which wins in terms of performance / > features.
