Sorry, but in my opinion, many of you are being quite ignorant.
I am missing three of my fingers on my left hand. Convince me that I
SHOULDN'T use scripts to help me out. You're all assuming that everyone is
"normal" with 10 fully-functioning digits and two fully-functioning
eyeballs. Well to heck with it! If someone wants to ride around in a wheel
chair but are perfectly capable of walking, I don't care, do you? What does
it really matter? A script isn't going to help that much anyway -- whoever
said "a script doesn't miss keys" well you bind it to something, right? You
could just as easily miss that key as any other (trust me on this one).
Cheers,
Bud Ingram

It's simple, a cheat is anything that gives one player an advantage over
another. I am sure we can all agree that is fact.
Now we can assume that like everything in life the hl2 code isn't perfect
and there are ways to use the tools we have been given in ways that are
not
intended (the wallhack using cvars comes to mind). I am sure that the
creators of the game did not intend for people to be able to make no
recoil
cheats. Considering the stance they have taken on cheating I am sure we
all
agree that is a fair statement. Scripts are also nothing more than a
manipulation of variables automated for our gaming pleasure. It is these
variables that are the actual cheats but it is the scripts that are the
catalyst. It's like one is the bullet and one is the gun. They work
together
to get the result.
The argument that it is there for everyone has no basis in reality. We all
may have the possibility to create a cheat such as this but the average
player does not have the knowledge necessary to create the cheat. We all
have the option of being rocket scientists but not everyone follows that
path. It's like talking to a little kid and all he says is "well what if"
over and over to every response.

It must be wonderful living in a world of black and white absolutes
At least it is obvious why some of you are in IT
Every choice is ultimately either 1 or 0
:)
